My name is John Luther. My wife, Bev and I are owners of Brothers Custom Works. We are design-build residential and light commercial builders, with offices in Hungerford near Wharton, TX. We offer comprehensive design - build services, and have provided land planning and development for residential and commercial land development and improvements.

Brothers Custom Works, Inc. is relatively small design / build company. We purposely limit the size of our company, the number of projects we engage and work zone in order to give our clients the personalized attention they deserve. While we can provided consulting and planning services over a broad area, we limit our actual build projects for homes, light commercial and land development projects to an approximate 60 mile radius from Hungerford, Texas. We serve areas West and Southwest of Houston to include Fort Bend County, Wharton County, and Matagorda County. We also serve select areas and projects in Harris, Brazoria, Waller, Austin, Colorado, Jackson and Lavaca Counties.

Our company has provided professional consultation, created comprehensive plans and specifications, and built many unique custom homes and commercial projects. We can provide complete plans and specs for a new home, and can assist clients in finding and customizing existing home plans. Our experience in design and the build out of projects has created a sensitivity to the desires of clients as expressed in design and specifications, and causes us to give special attention to detail without assumption.

I have been in the homebuilding industry for 40 years, and Brothers Custom Works has been in business for 24 years. I also serve as an Elder in our Church, an Executive Board of Directors Member for an associated ministry, and on the Construction and Real Estate Advisory Board and as Chairman of Business Development Committee for our Church and Ministry. I also hold a positions on the advisory boards of several local community service organizations. Bev and I are Ambassadors in the Wharton Chamber of Commerce, and we have established an outstanding reputation amongst industry professionals, and the general community within our working radius.

We have designed and built many projects, and make it our goal to also build durable and friendly relationships with our clients. Our mission statement is "Do to others as you would have them do to you." , and we make to our goal to "go the extra mile".
